Our customer Arçelik is involved in consumer durables and consumer electronics, and we are migrating the consolidation processes of Arçelik’s group companies to the SAP BC solution. .
Our customer is one of Turkey’s leading companies in production, marketing and after-sales services of consumer durables and consumer electronics. What we are doing with them at the moment is the implementation of a Consolidation Project and when the project is completed, consolidation transactions will be carried out automatically via the SAP BC system.
The SAP PBC Consolidation Project will initially be implemented in approximately 50 group companies of our customer and within the scope of this project, we design easy-to-use interfaces in order for the users in companies to easily upload their company data to the system. Users will be able to either enter data using data entry pages or transfer their data by uploading files. As budget data is embedded into the system, both stand-alone and consolidated financial statements with relevant footnotes and the comparison of actual financials with the budget figures will be obtained via BPC consolidation system. With the workflows introduced into the system, every user will know the necessary steps to follow and execution of the process will be carried out smoothly by e-mail notifications. There is ongoing effort on a detailed function and data authorization covering all users. As this effort is finalized, each company that is included in the consolidation process will be able to see its own data and the transactions that took place between its own company and sister companies in the reconciliation and controlling report. Within the scope of the project, our experts will train all users who are involved in the project. After the project goes live, IBSS will continue to provide its customer with usage support.
