Enerjisa Üretim is Turkey’s leading power generating and trading company, and has been managing a portfolio in two main business lines, electricity generation and trading. Enerjisa Üretim preferred to implement its financial consolidation project using SAP BPC under the consultancy of IBSS.
Enerjisa Üretim preferred SAP BPC solution to manage its activities through a consolidated system. In the previously used consolidation system, manual operations carried out without operational system integration caused waste of considerable amount of time for detecting and correcting human errors, resulting in inefficient processes.
Enerjisa Üretim chose to work with IBSS thanks to its expertise on SAP BPC and its extensive experience in the industry. The goal was to achieve smooth and efficient processes by automating the rules and eliminations designated by this integration.
The efforts for the completion of consolidation supported by the experienced consultants of IBSS resulted in replacement of the previous system with SAP’s consolidation solution. Having been started in September in 2018, the project was completed in three months and the systems were ready for use. Automation of business processes and reporting provided efficiency by eliminating human errors.
Thanks to BPC Consolidation project, the staff of Enerjisa Üretim have automatic and rapid access to stand-alone financial statements of all group companies and consolidated financial statements for sector nodes.
